TO REROUTE SAMPLES FROM ONE LAB TO ANOTHER

Steps:

1. Login to the LIMS

2. on the Landing page click on either the VL/EID Module and locate the sample transfer module on the Homepage

3. On the Sample transfer module. Click on the Transfer Samples Out icon.

4. On the Transfer Samples Out page: carry out the following operations

• Sorting of Samples: Locate filter record section and select order by, Number of samples to be transferred, select the state, select facility and select sample type
• Fill the form below the filtering section, select destination lab and select available samples to be transferred out and other details on the form
•  A check box will be available on each filtered sample, click on the check box to select the samples you want to transfer out.

5. Finally click on the Transfer Samples button at the button of the page to transfer the samples from Lab A to Destination Lab B.

6. On clicking on the Transfer Samples button, a Sample Transfer Manifest will be generated automatically.

7. Locate the newly generated manifest on the list of manifests;

•  The status of the manifest will say Pending.
•  Click on Print manifest to print the newly generated manifest.
•  Click on Edit manifest to edit sample manifest information.
• Click on Dispatch to dispatch the newly generated manifest.
• Manifest Status will change from pending to Dispatch
• Manifest Status will change from Dispatch to Accepted when the transferred samples are accepted at Lab B.

8. On the Sample Transfer Module: You can click on the View Transferred Samples, to see a list of all samples that have been transferred out.
